Welcome to the website for St. James Lutheran Church of Cambridge!   We are glad that you have virtually dropped by, and we’d like to invite you to do  the same out there in the “real world” some time.  We are a Lutheran church  (hence the name) of a very conservative bent.     We figure that the Bible is God’s Word -- every word of it -- and it’s not all that  hard to understand.     “God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes  in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”     Nothing difficult there -- for us, at least.  It cost Jesus His life on a cross.   So St. James is here to honor that love and that sacrifice, and to tell everybody  about it who wants to listen.  We preach and teach about Jesus Christ, who  died for our sins and rose again to bring us eternal life.  This website will tell  you a little bit about how we go about doing that.   Again, thanks for looking us up!  Hope to see the real you some time!
